Mike Hawkins

Dr. Mike Hawkins came to serve as pastor of Salem Baptist Church in September 2013. He has served as associate pastor at Woodridge Baptist in Shreveport, full time pastor at Heflin Baptist in Heflin, and bi-vocational pastor at Harmon Baptist in Harmon.

Dr. Hawkins has a deep desire to facilitate spiritual growth in God’s people. He wants to help every church member know and do God’s will. He wants our church to be one that encourages, empowers, and equips God’s people to be all that He would have them be.

He has been married to Jackie since 1977. Their family includes two sons, one daughter, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, two granddaughters and a grandson.
